It's said that the third time is the charm, but Spider-Man 3 sees the friendly neighborhood web crawler facing off against a New Goblin, Sandman and Venom. Having already taken down the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus in the first two Spider-Man films, it looks like Spidey's in for the fight of his life.
Unfortunately, that's not all he has to worry about. In his life as Peter Parker, there's also the danger of losing Aunt May, trying to balance his school and work careers, his romance with Mary Jane and his issues with Harry Osborn. And in Spider-Man 3, there'll be a new twist in his life--the lovely Gwen Stacy.
Note: Spider-Man 3 crushed the previous record for an opening weekend gross at the box office with a massive $151 million. Week Two, Spider-Man continued to keep audiences tangled in his web, taking in another $60 million. This week, Spider-Man got beat by Shrek. It still grossed $29 million, bringing its 3 week total to $382 million.
